I think we have 2, and they were in back to back seasons

Unlikely. It takes a lot longer to build up a program.

Yeah you're right. It takes one-two recruiting class for a program that has literally been at or near the bottom of the conference since most of it's existence. Auburn has ZERO history to sell. You're best sell point is Turrible.

You better have a program you can sell, and right now you don't have it.

I think you'll be surprised how many recruits will look AU's way just because of Bruce Pearl being our head coach... We'll have better recruiting classes the next 3 years than in the history of our program bookmark it...

Charles Barkley supposedly is recruiting for us in the ATL area. Probably against the rules but it is Sir Charles

Supposedly we have a lot of interest from guys who are impressed by the hire. I don't think we will have elite recruiting classes but a couple respectable classes will end up with an experienced team that with good coaching can win in the SEC. That's all we need to build a foundation

yeah.

Recruits may "look" at Auburn now because they have Bruce Pearl, but the top level recruits are still going to go to places with better facilities, more passionate basketball fan bases, and better coaches. That being said, Pearl will improve Auburn considerably.

Kid's love big name coaches... You might be right but I think he'll be able to sell our new facilities and coaching staff to some nice recruits...

Well, that's not true.

Since 2000, LSU has only been to the sweet 16 twice – 2000 (L v. Wisconsin), 2006 (W v. Duke).

You are still Auburn
You still play in a tiny gym
The state of Alabama lacks quality talent
and lastly but most importantly you are an Under Armour school

Not enough. Mizzou is historically bad in the NCAA tournament.

26 appearances
7 Sweet 16's
5 Elite Eights
0 Final Fours

We only have 22 wins in 26 NCAA appearances, and 26 appearances is the most by any school without reaching the Final Four.

Mizzou doesn't do tournaments very well

Damn Cal is closing in on this in his first 5 years at Kentucky. He is already at 15.

Well yeah, if we're gonna compare a HOF coach at a blue blood school to lil' ol Mizzou.

Bill Self has 36 most of which are at kansas.

I would guess LSU is hovering around a dozen. They have four since 2000 and around six with Brown. A couple before that.

Two since 2000.

That made me look up LSU's numbers:

20 appearances (24-23 record)
9 Sweet 16's
6 Elite Eights
4 Final Fours
1 Claimed National Championship
