I'd relentlessly bang the holy shite out of Danica, but I'd also cut my own dick off with a butter knife before watching (or attending) a NASCAR event.

I love racing and fast cars. I've made fast cars go even faster by dumping a lot of money and time in them. I've spent countless hours at the drag strip. Attended Indy. Attended NASCAR events. Live 10 mins from Bristol motor speedway and get free tickets. Lot of my buddies are fans.
No matter how hard I try to enjoy/ get into the sport.... NASCAR fricking blows !

Here in New Orleans, I even forget NASCAR is in season half the time. I think when Johnson won his 4th title in the row, there was a 2 paragraph article on the back page of the sports section. It gets NO coverage, and having moved from VA. I love it.
Though I can watch about 10 minutes of the road courses(if I ever knew when they were).

NASCAR sucks. Along with the WNBA, PGA, FIFA, and MLB.

Generally speaking, people in Texas don't give a rip about NASCAR,and don't consider it a sport. Basically, it is in the same realm as the WNBA, tennis, and soccer on the don't-give-a-frick meter ; are we the only SEC state that feels this way?

You have a track in Tejas.

I don't like NASCAR, but I do wish I had gone to a NASCAR and Indy race at Richmond while I lived there.

Can't watch it on TV. I would recommend going once in person though. Watching the wrecks in person beats watching them on TV.

Went to two races in Vegas and Arizona with customers.

Fukkin hated it live. Like it better on tv.

I honestly don't know how anyone can. It's nothing but left turns for 3 hours.

The assumption that NASCAR fans are CFB fans that didnt attend the University they are a fan of, is probably a good one.

I followed it pretty heavy for a few years when I lived in fort worth. Went to a few races at TMS when I was in corporate suites. The problem is the overlap for the main sports I follow which is college baseball and football and Saints football.

Before the race for the chase started you knew who was going to win the championship by the time college football started up so I could switch over to football and didn't feel like I missed anything. That chase crap fricked it all up. They want NASCAR fans to keep watching durring football season? Wtf?

Oh and I also can't find Stewart on the track anymore. Way easier when he was in the bright orange. So I haven't watched a single race since the last year Stewart was in the 20.

Not a racing fan, hate soccer - send it back to where it came from. Check the gata mullets for race fans.

I've never even met anyone who watches NASCAR. I try to give all sports a fair chance and could watch almost anything as long as it's competitive, but NASCAR interests me about as much as watching 5 O'Clock traffic.
