Since it's still the damn offseason, I'm going to make a thread where you can predict how long each SEC coach will remain at their current job AND where they will go afterwards.

Steve Spurrier - 2 Years - Retirement
Nick Saban - 5 Years - Retirement
Gary Pinkel - 2 Years - Fired/Retired
Les Miles - 5 Years - Retirement
Mark Richt - 12 Years - Retirement
Kevin Sumlin - 2 Years - NFL
Gus Malzahn - 3 Years - Fired - lower tier head coach
Mark Stoops - 4 Years - Fired - Coordinator
Butch Jones - 4 Years - Fired - Major Conf. Doormat HC
Hugh Freeze - 3 Years - PAC-12 head coach
Bret Bielema - 12 Years - NFL head coach
Dan Mullen - 2 Years - Fired - lower tier head coach
Will Muschamp - 4 Years - Fired - non-SEC head coach
James Franklin - 3 Years - Higher tier SEC head coach

Sumlin's family wanted to move back to college station. They'll be there for a long time. He's a college guy, he's never even expressed any interest in the NFL.

yea. about that. See they have this thing called money in the nfl. It'll lure him away if he's really good or he'll be gone in 5 years.

The only program that've had coaches longer than that were winning NC or had lost control of the decision to stay long ago.

You are so far removed from relevant sources that was all straight from your arse.

Guys that have been on staffs with Sumlin have come out and said 2 yrs max left in A&M for Sumlin because the NFL is his goal.

Mark Stoops - 5 years. Gets UK to third in East and then heads to Alabama despite being offered governorship of the Commonwealth, lifetime BJs from Ashley Judd and 10% of profits from Eastern Kentucky's pill, pot and heroin trade.

You only used 2, 3, 4, 5 and 12? No one is going to be around for 6-11?

1 or 2 based on track record.

Some NFL team will be lucky to get him.
