His recruiting is slowly declining

Yeah, it's pretty clear you're in decline when you don't have a class rated outside the top two for at least the last 5 seasons.

I guess you're in pre-melt over the 2018 class or something because nothing else can explain this utterly absurd and demonstrably false statement.

Who is Saban's competition in the SEC right now?

Last year we desperately needed some elite DT types and true corners. Didn't get them. We need them even worse this class and guess what...he is on the decline in recruiting and the rankings and lack of elite players we usually sign are the proof. Dabo and Urban are taking the kids we need right now. It isn't a criticism, it's just an observation.

I'd throw in Mullen since someone will come in and offer him the bank...

We are rocking a surplus in budget right now. We will pay him what he needs/wants to be paid. He's at 4.8 million with incentives right now

Isaiah Buggs wasn't considered elite talent?
Phidarian Mathis, a top 100 overall recruit isn't elite talent?
Xavier McKinney, a top 60 overall and top 10 safety isn't an elite recruit?
LaBryan Ray THE #1 RATED DEFENSIVE END isn't considered elite talent?

I could continue, but I think you get the point. It really isn't possible for you to be more wrong.

To be fair, Mathis is the only player you listed at the 2 positions he was talking about. The overall recruiting class ranking is still tops, but he has missed on a few players at specific positions of need

In all honesty?

Every single SEC team but USCe and Georgia because Muschamp can win enough to keep them from firing him. Georgia won't win a title, but he will continue the Richt tradition of ten win seasons.

Kentucky, Miss State, and Vandy will have coaches move up to a new school.

Saban retires has to eventually

Rest fire their coaches for a better one.

I think it's safe to say that every single team will have new coaches by then because this conference is the "Jones's" conference.

I wouldn't laugh too much Dores because when these schools fire their coaches they will be looking for new ones. How many good coaches has Vanderbilt been able to keep long term?

Every school except Georgia will have a new coach in 2020.
