His meeting with the players today will go something like this:

"I'm still the coach, and all the assistance are still coaching. The plan is to remain coaching, so we need your full effort for the A&M game. Treat it as a normal week"

last time lsu fans got their hopes up and posted a bunch of it's happening gifs, Saban stayed at bama
What you don't understand is that was totally real, it WAS happening, done deal, hands shook. And then at the last second there was an unforeseen snag, a technicality that blew it all up. We were so close. And that's what will happen with Jimbo too.

Bro, that is expecting a lot from me. Actually reading the whole article instead of just the style headline.

Les isn't going anywhere. He's too much of a fixture in LSU culture. He's basically LSU's Joe Paterno. Until something like Sandusky goes does under his watch, Les will be at LSU.

Listen, stupid arse. The media is all over it. This isn't some message board rumor. There is a legitimate reason that they are reporting it.

You'll probably keep saying "Miles is staying! He's like Joe Paterno!" Even when we have our new coach.

they're reporting rumor's from their unnamed 'sources'

also don't coaches usually hold a meeting on the Monday following a game?

Keep thinking that, imbecile. The more you are in denial, the more retarded you are looking.

the admins even know the difference between facts and rumors
quote:

As most of you know, this board does not allow rumors to be posted.

Now, you very well may know Joe Alleva, or BE Joe Alleva, but until you have credible links to back-up your information, then they will just be considered rumors.

And get deleted.

ONE of you seems adamant about making sure everyone knows that YOU know something. We get it, so please stop. If it goes down like you say, then you will be mailed your "Super-Awesome Poster of the Month" award in the mail.

all LSU fans have at this point is rumors.

enjoy being let down today when les doesn't retire

I don't think he is retiring today

but I don't think he will be here after 2016 and likely not at the end of this year

but he won't announce shite today

bet you're right

the only way he's at lsu after 2016 is if he wins more games than he did this year. might take beating bama to save his job.

Dude, I know you're trolling, but he's a lame duck coach now, even if he stays for one more year.

Not if he gets blown out the week after, and the week after that.

6 in a row to bama and there is no doubt in my mind he's gone. Board was already divided on his future before this 3 game streak.

I highly doubt he is gone before Jan 1 since his buyout goes from 15M to 12.9M in just a month and a half. And he ain't leavin' that money on the table. His agent is better than that.

He's gone. Best case scenario is he announces he's leaving and coaches out the week. The board basically neutered him. He only has the support of his team. Even his coaches might be looking already
