We were close last year. I want to see an undefeated iron bowl. Stiff Dews happen, though.

Well, Bama has 2 BCSNC with rookie QB's. So, the progression at that position is critical. The defense will be better. Kicking game is still up in the air. Isn't it funny how our esteemed coach always brings things around.

Too much unknown to know for sure

This.

Could run the table with adequate QB play. Could lose 3 or 4 otherwise.

Gmac had some quality backup time and flashes of competence in the role. So did AJ.

I have seen no such thing from anyone behind AJ.

Dak is a running QB which gives Bama fits and MSU's has played Bama tough 2 out of 3 years.

Since 2008, every game against Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa has been a blow out:

2008: 32-7
2010: 30-10
2012: 38-7

With the exception of 2009, MSU has played us tough every year in Starkville.

I did. Blake Sims in 2012. When he came in in garbage time they had him running the read option offense. He thrived in that. They want him to run more of a pro style offense but that's just not his style as we saw in 2013 and the spring game.

We are not a read-option team. If you saw him complete a decent pass, I'd like to see it.

bama's defense will be nasty as frick once again. Look forward to opponents getting 50 yards a game and never crossing the 50

Bama will bama. They will never completely fail under saban but a new qb, losing a decent amount of talen to the draft. I can see them winning the SEC or I could see another repeat of 2010.

Last year was the repeat of 2010

This year the SEC is fricked

Good Luck

Except 2014 Alabama is no where near as experienced/talented as 2011 Alabama.
