How many games did Newton make the difference in for AU last year?

the guy was absolutely incredible and I wish I could have gotten to see him play in person. Recalling the games on Auburn's schedule, I feel Cam made the difference in these games.
Clemson
Arkansas
Georgia
Alabama
Kentucky
South Carolina (first meeting)
LSU
So think about it, he may well have been the difference b/w a crystal football on the Plains and a 5-7 mark potentially. Just being realistic, I just don't know if Chris Todd or Kodi Burns could have found a way to win all of these close games Auburn pulled out.

Almost all of them. They would have had a losing season without Cam, like they will the next few years until Chiz is fired after being exposed as a joke of a coach with no Cam.

We had a winning season in '09 with Chris Todd at QB, and we came very close to winning 2 to 3 more games than we did. Even before Cam Newton came along, we were supposed to be better in '10.

He made a difference in all the games for sure. I don't think that necessarily means we lose all those game without him though. People have to realize that we would not have been trying to do the things we were doing without Cam. It would have been more similar to the 2009 offense. We won 8 games with Chris fricking Todd at QB. I just don't see how we would have won less than that last year, even without Cam.
Also, one of the things that made us very good last year was the four seniors on the OL and a dominant DL. I think history shows that a team that can control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball doesn't go 5-7.
I think we would have lost to LSU, Arkansas and Bama without Cam. 9-3.

What about going to OT against Clemson? Or the Kentucky game, or the Georgia game that was a 1 possession game in the 4th quarter?
You think the backup QB would've have played just as good as Cam in those games?

Our back-up QBs bring something totally different to the game, and will prove that this year. I don't expect a major drop off, but will lose 2 - 3 games due to a brutal schedule.

I love the way the haters rewrite history after they get exposed for being idiots the entire season. Here is on of the things we heard from them in the pre-season and during the season:
1.Auburn runs a High School Offense that the SEC Coaches have figured out.
2. Chizik is a 5-19 coach and last year (8-5) was an anomaly.
3. Cam balls have more air underneath them than an airline pilot.
4. Cam is a one man team.
5. No way Auburn comeS into BDS a defeats Nick Saban.

Georgia game was easy. Auburn was basically just fricking around and wrecking idiots.

I think Cam beat us (USC) the first game. He made a couple of plays (long TD run) that no one else in league would have made.

I really don't think Auburn beats Georgia if not for Cam. They had one of the best gameplans for Auburn all year and jumped all over them 21-7 in the first half with Aaron Murray letting it rip vertically in a hostile environment in JHS.

well this is a pretty stupid comment. it was close into the 4th where richt elected to go for the fg in a game where each team was scoring tds back and forth and following that fg UGA lost all momentum. the game was not some cake walk where there was no question auburn would win and to think that is ignorant

without cam i don't see them competing with our offense. not only would they not score as much but they wouldn't hold onto the ball nearly as much (which was partly why the won). UGA would have won IMHO

but chizik did have cam and nick...?

Auburn fricked around that entire game and still dominated. They were knocking idiots out left and right.
If they played hard in that game it would have been a blow out. I felt like Auburn was very classy by not going balls out and allowing UGA to keep the score kinda close
