I remember watching LSU stomp a mud hole in UT at Neyland in 2011. Was there in person.

LSU has had UT's number lately. LSU has beaten UT 5 times since 2001...they had only beaten them 4 times in the rest of the series history (1925-2000). So, if I get too depressed as a UT fan, I can just recall the days of Gerry DiNardo or Curley Hallman. Every program has had their Derek Dooley days, I suppose.

And some of us have our Derek Dooley days and still never lose to UT.

2003 & 2004 say otherwise.

eta...that isn't really a fair comparison...Zook was much better than Dooley.

If you think Brentwood is the best place to live in America there is no doubt in my mind you are from Antioch.

Zook actually won his fair share of big games (including 30-13 over #4 UT on a rainy day in Knoxville).

I eagerly await your review of the Tony Ball hiring. Because if there's one thing UT knows, its what makes a good coaching candidate.

Les fell back a$$wards into a national title. All it took was having 2 losses that year, luck and a home game in New Orleans to do the trick.

and winning the SEC Title game. Remind me, who did they beat in that game?

You mean the 8-5 UT team that finished 3rd in the East and unranked? To be fair...they were a 6-OT game vs Arkansas from finishing 7-6.

Les has lost control of the coaching staff

Just because Orgeron left for a better job out in SoCal with Kiffin doesn't mean he's in it for himself. Most people would have done the same thing. 2015 and 2016 will be integral for Les, I'll give you that. He's finally got "his guy" running the offense, with a returning starting QB and a highly talented backup. Anything less than an SEC title in the next two years should put him on the hot seat.

Tennessee never beat LSU while Dinardo was the coach.

And if you're waxing nostalgic on the days when Tennessee used to beat Vandy with regularity,

You're the one who brought up our 5 loss 03 and 04 teams.
