I think its surprising that they don't get pro style QBs when they run a pro style offense . I would think LSU could get a decent pro style QB like Bama .

Note to self: Cancel GFunk's invitation to Les' surprise birthday party.

Les' stubbornness has cost our program at least 1 championship, maybe more.
All of the bluster every offseason about how "this is the year" we open up the passing game, never happens.
Les Miles is content with pounding the ball, winning 8-9 out of 10 games, playing in a bowl, and calling it a day.
I get no sense from him that he's frustrated or even cares about the fans' frustrations regarding the offense. The only time he makes changes are when his arse is on the line and he needs to pull a rabbit out to save it

Our QB recruiting makes no sense whatsoever. All over the board...some mobile, some not, some tall, some short...we have no identity in our QB recruiting

It was his first season starting.. He was essentially a 10 win (cupcake game cancelled) QB in his first season starting as a true sophomore..
He actually had similar/better stats than Mett in his first year starting.. and Mett was a fricking Junior.. again Harris missed an extra cupcake game to pad his stats..
It takes LSU's qb until their 3rd year or so in the program to have success under Miles lately..
I'm not sure why you feel the need to trash Harris.. but so be it.. He's on the same trajectory as the last good QB at LSU.. and he was far better than Jennings..

I'm sure he's a nice guy who does his best but - REALLY? The starting QB for LSU?
LSU is shitty at developing QB's right away.. it is what it is.. he has the talent and has shown it at times.. even in the Alabama game where he had some bad passes.. he made some great throws..
FWIW, Tom Herman.. and offensive genius.. personally recruited Brandon Harris to OSU.. and he would do wonders with Brand Harris and his talent under his system..
It is what it is.. it takes QBs time under Miles.. but he should have a huge leap in his 3rd season and being a Junior..

2nd year player last year and first year as a starter with all can agree 10 wins.
This year will be much better and if he stays his senior year Brandon Harris will be the best QB in the SEC. Most of you do not realize Harris did not play much football as a youngster and had just limited high school experience. This kid has a great arm and very good legs and will only improve, coaches on LSU have seen a better work ethic and his overall leadership skills have improved and will only get better.

The word around the campfire is that he suffered a sports hernia injury at some point during the Alabama game. I didn't notice because with Less running single receiver routes on 3rd down on his own side of the field in obvious passing down/distance scenarios in the first half, I knew his stupefying pride and a-hole pucker factor when it comes to the very idea that perhaps you might have to throw it to soften up the LOS versus that Bama DL was such that I made the decision to lose the plot in an effort to find the bottom of a bottle of Bourbon.
I'd seen that same dumbass game plan versus Bama live. In person. It was January 9th, 2012. He'd rather have his shite pushed in than try to win the game.
But in all honesty, the word is that the injury is something that-while he played through it-definitely affected his accuracy. It was confirmed he had the surgery in the offseason. But no one around the program will confirm when it happened.
My personal opinion is that Less doesn't GAF about the passing game, keeps it incredibly basic, doesn't rep it in practice, and has forgotten about the short and medium throws. His idea of the short passing game is a screen. The seam route for a TE is considered something they're probably still perfecting in Area 51 in a classified hangar or some shite.
But there's no doubt that Harris didn't have much chance to work on short throws which require accuracy, and an injury affected said accuracy. Also, thanks to Less' gross incompetence, he wouldn't rep Harris consistently in 2014 to get him a bit more polished than he was in advance of 2015. So that's why we saw him so raw last year.
Which almost cost him his job...Unfortunately for LSU Fans, he spoke only lip service in changing and opening to new ideas and more balance. The Spring and the Offseason gave us no hope for that and he has only made comments about the QB improving do to experience which means we will be better.
Still stubborn. Still playing elite talent down towards inferior talent with superior coaching. Still trying to win with defense instead of winning by whatever means necessary.
Not sure if you can tell by my post...but I'll be glad when he's gone. Just sorry the a-hole wasted such a bevy of talented skill position players who came through our program on offense for the better part of the last decade.
This, ladies and gentlemen... Is how you express a Chernobyl level melt when you can write in complete sentences.

Sorry that it couldn't be communicated to you. I will try to break it down. This is a nice way to say he got recruited over, but teams would have taken him as a 2nd QB commit in their classes.

He became LSU'S QB because he had to compete with Anthony Jennings. If LSU had Treon Harris on the roster competing against Anthony Jennings, Treon Harris would win hands down.

No, with a moron OP who is just trolling, really, just no.

Most LSU fans could care less how hard and/or far he can throw a football.
That's irrelevant while LSU runs pass routes that require bullets like Mett threw to work. You think you can lob a pass to the opposite side of the field for a 20 yard post?

Why would you call the OP a mongoloid? How do you know he's from Asia?
Mongoloid, not Mongolian. I know because Bama trolls are from Assia, not Asia, you inbred Gump.
