Nope. No one outside of Ole Miss people hold Oxford in high regard.

Get that shite out of here.

Sorry bub. It's time to accept a simple truth: no one gives a frick about Oxford and all the myths you've heard about it are just that - myths created by the Ole Miss fanbase.

Yea, your links ain't doing it for me. I've voted for LSU in some ridiculous shite. Let me know when a poll comes out from a major news outlet. Away.com and travelleisure.com are not reliable sources. I've lived life in multiple cities and have witnessed personally how secluded the south is. Just because a few people voted oxford as a sweet college town doesn't mean most Americans think that way or that they could even name where Oxford is located.

You're finally on the right track. Oxford is known for that 30 for 30 and hood rich tailgates.

And they have a good risk management program. Other than that, it's just another low point of entry school in the south

Literally none of those tell me anything. I feel like you didn't even read the descriptions.

You do realize that you're giving me absolutely no concrete proof backing up your point.

I'm sure your experience represents the majority of Americans as that is what self-righteous folk tend to do - be certain of themselves because of some unfounded certainty. Get the frick over yourself, count.

NY Times
USA Today
SDS - the ranking that caused the shitstorm today
Livability
Memphis Business Journal

There aren't many publications writing about the best college towns. Again, it's pretty universally held that Oxford is a great college town. I'm sure you have some contrary experience which you can attribute to the majority of the country. Seriously, go frick yourself you sanctimonious count.

I have a degree from the RMI program. Doesn't change the fact that you can be a self-righteous prick at times.

Yes I'm god damn rustled as frick right now

Since Ole Miss fans are so big into what the media thinks of you, can somebody link the clip where Trev Alberts compares your football program to a runt in a litter of pigs? That was probably my favorite. TIA

i'm not sure why people can't just give Oxford credit where it's due. It epitomizes the definition of a college town. It has just enough good bars, a good dining scene, and the town is fully intertwined with the university. It is a place you stay for 4 (maybe 6) years then move away, like most college towns. Most of my friends who went or still go there call it for what it is. They're usually burnt out by the 4th year but love visiting

It's not a place for a young professional as it doesn't have many white collar jobs, so I don't get the argument there.

At times I'd rather have LSU be in a true college town because it's often stigmatized for the crime and Guatemalan infrastructure instead of how good the university actually is.

I think Fayetteville is truly an outlier to evolving from a college town to a sprawling metro area. It's not every day 5 Fortune 500 companies set up shop within reasonable distance of what was originally a remote area, and in a state with only one true tier one institution at that.

The Fayetteville metro area didn't exactly grow strictly because of UA. A lot of credit goes to those companies who made the commitment to stay instate and not outsource its operations, and as a result NWA is a hot place to be. Frankly it's he most underrated road trip in the conference, and it's not even close. I'm so happy LSU left that shite hole in Little Rock, even though the tailgating was a lot more fun

Next time you see your n-bor in a vest, punch him in the throat. Consider it a mission of mercy.

If Ole Miss football games are such awesome events that everybody wants to attend, how do you explain them having the 2nd or 3rd smallest football stadium in the SEC?
