He is a great athlete. He has prototypical size and speed for the position. Not saying he should or would ever move just that it is really his only shot at playing pro ball. Athletes from high school such as quarterbacks typically move to receiver or defensive back regularly. The whole point is that he is not a pro quarterback and you need to watch your tone altar boy.

Great runner, getting better as a passer

His passing game appears to be improving steadily. I wouldn't trade him for any other starting QB in the SEC.

There are some REALLY bad qbs that make it into the league. I mean Josh Dobbs was a 4th round pick. Colin Kaepernick was a 2nd round pick. Greg freaking McElroy was drafted.

Somebody will take a chance on him. I doubt he'll ever be a meaningful NFL qb, but I think it's way too early to say he won't get drafted.

Disagree. No pro team is going to draft him to play quarterback and he couldn't cut it at running back either. I do think he would make a really good safety but that is another conversation.

Jalen stole your wife or girlfriend.

The only explanation for the consistent venom you spew about him.

The best part is when he makes you look stupid every weekend, you deny these posts of hate you consistently have about him.

It isn't hate, it is the truth. Only a homeristic moron thinks the kid has a future in the NFL. That is ok with me though because I only judge our guys by what they do in college and he is having a great year.

he's basically pat white but stronger

actually what he really reminds me of is a black, right handed version of tebow

won't make the NFL as a QB but has a place there

I want to disagree with this, but I just can't. Very true thus far. If he is to be considered a great QB, he will have to learn to depend on his legs far less, become a better pocket passer, make decisions with the football more quickly. I am NOT saying Tua should be starting over him, but Tua is a more gifted QB than Jalen is.

Also easier on a QB to never be behind in a game no matter how bad your offense is playing.

I'd like to see him have to lead the team from behind. I like the kid, seems like a good kid, but I'm not sure he is a good QB. He's a good running QB though. As someone else said, he's another Nick Marshall.

He's doing exactly what he needs to. Third in total offense in the SEC. 10 TDs, no INTs, and only 3 sacks. Actually has the highest yards/play in the SEC as well at 8.39.

No one gives a shite about what he is doing in the NFL. We are worried about him winning in college.

That is the bullshite you spew because you can't take away the fact he is an effective college QB.

He was down 24-3 just before half in the third game of his career as a true freshman on the road in Oxford last season. He also put together a great 2 minute drive to take the lead back from Clemson in the National Championship game last year. Unfortunately for Bama fans, it was about 2 minutes too early and the defense couldn't hold on.

You mean like being down 24-3 as a true freshman starter in a SEC road game?

Or maybe seeing him lead a TD drive down 4 points with under 5:00 left in a national championship game?

Yeah, I'd like to see that too. The images of what those things would look like are so vivid in my mind, it's almost like they've already happened.
