It also seemed to me like Coats under played the pass they called an over thrown ball. He seemed to slow down a little just before the ball got to him causing it to be slightly over thrown. If he stays in full stride, you have a definite TD reception, assuming he doesnt drop the ball.

I was saying immediately after that play that if Coates had just kept stride instead of looking back what seemed to be at least 3 times, that would have been a TD. Glad somebody else at least thought that might have been on the receiver more so than the QB, or at least equally so.

Coates was actually held by the DB just enough to keep him from running under the pass. Watch that play again and had Coates gotten past the DB cleanly it is 6 points,

Had them at 9-3. It is a possibility.

I like their DLine and OLine the most which is where games are won.

Yep. Two strongest units and that is what you want. Our Oline is better than people realize I think. Next year I really expect our Oline to be top 5 in the country good. All of them return, and several will be 3rd year starters.

Right now I would say that TAMU, UGA & BAMA are all L's and the swing games are on the road vs two teams that look to be a step below them. But how will they play on the road? They've only played 1 game away from JHS and got smashed.

I agree in general, but we are going to be a handful for A&M, UGA, and Bama IMO. A&M is on the road and the earliest of those, which hurts our chances since we are getting better each week.

UGA and Bama better be ready when they arrive at JH. I suspect we continue to get better faster than UGA and Bama and playing them both at the end of the year helps. And JH will likely be pretty pissed off and hostile those two weeks.

Also, I hope we can win both Arky and UT, but a split there would not be surprising considering they are both road games and we have to prove we can win away from JH still.

So now you move the goal post from who has AU beaten to who has AU beaten by a lot on the road?

No goal posts were moved. You either missed it or are lacking in reading comprehension skills.

See my post toward the top of page 3.

i would say that UT is not a clear cut win for AU and UGA not a clear cut loss. either way same result and marked improvement. marshall is becoming a very dangerous qb - to think we had him at db.

Mizzou has spanked, SPANKED, a Big-10 and SEC team by large margins on the road.

Vandy's season was over when they lost to Ole Miss

also when ya'll played Indiana 4 of their 5 starting OL were out. if those guys are healthy they run a train on your D similar to what they did against Penn State

UT was 3 injuries from having their shite beaten in. I think we win that game in Knoxville decisively.

Why are you camped out in this thread? We don't play Missouri and most of us don't care about your team.

Our passing offense is holding us back from being really good. Defense is improving every week. Running game is ahead of schedule, but a reliable passing game is holding them back.

This. If my team was 5-0 I wouldn't be in here trying to compare our teams. Lame
