Do not let the above poster on your board. You'd be better off with me unless you want a braggert Gump all up in your grills. If that's the case, let him in.
I'm pretty much game to let anybody on the UGA board. I don't really care and sort of like the back and forth with rival fans. Bucc likes to talk recruiting too.

I guess I've always assumed that every major SEC program had an IPF. Georgia not having one surprises me.

UF doesn't have one either. We don't have the space near the fields. We built a really nice women's lacrosse stadium though.

Maybe your aren't the obnoxious Gump I was thinking of. If not, my bad. The non-obnoxious are so few and far between.

We have one.
But wysiwyg.

The last thing a UT fan should bring up is affordability of anything when the athletic department in Knoxville is busy making it rain with $1 bills when UGA's able to spend by the millions and still have a surplus.
We just spent $50M on an addition to our practice facility. That's a lot of $1 bills.

You borrowed $50M. That's why you lead the league in debt.
Serious question, why is Dave Hart taking you guys so far in debt. He's a Gator grad isn't he?
ETA: Even better. He's a Gump grad.

We were the first SEC team to have an IPF.

That's because the weather sucks late fall.

1-2 times a year? Seriously? How many times did we cancell practice LAST SPRING due to rain and lighting?
At least 3 maybe 4. And you only get a certain amount of practices and days to have them during spring drills.
NO excuse not to have one. SC,Bama and AU all have em.
Does it rain more in those places than Athens?

If I were a UGA fan, I wouldn't be as pissed that my AD hasn't spent the money for a true indoor practice facility as I would be that money was spent on that stupid indoor grassy room.

I don't think that is correct. State built it's first IPF in the 70's.

Most of those practices weren't lost They either moved the location or the time.
It sucks. But it isnt as big a deal as many make it out to be.
I do like the idea that baseball/soccer/track/etc.. can also use the facility to get more value than the 2-4 practices per year that might be threatened by lightning.
It really bites us in the butt if we have lightning during a gameweek in-between 2 road games (short week where every minute is valuable).

I agree. Something with a track, etc. would make a little more sense.
