And Henry played in 3 more games while leading his team to the NC.

His body didn't know that. It was just 100 more hits he had to take.

You do realize Fournette will leave college with 150+ more carries than Henry right?

He'll leave college with 750-800 carries. Has a running back ever had that many in a college career?

Yup

It took Derrick Henry 46 carries to hit 271 yards against Auburn

On 19 carries Leonard had 230 yards, which is 12.1 yards per carry....

On 45 carries Henry had 271 yards, which is 5.8 yards per carry....

If we were to switch their carry amounts =

Leonard on 46 carries would've hit 570.4 yards based on the his ypc...

Henry on 19 carries would've hit 110.2 yards based on his ypc...

Fix that for me :)

I wish he'd have 500 more than Henry. Screens, pitches, dives, wildcat, idgaf. He should be getting the ball a lot.

Leonard was the premier back as a Freshmen and ran for over 1,000 yards...

Henry rode the pine as a freshmen and ran for under 400 yards...

I don't think the carries vs ATM should count because he usually doesn't get hit on those.....

So true.

I personally think A&M should lower the amount of snaps for Myles Garrett... It can't be good for his health to get driven into the dirt as much as he does.

Alabama didn't need to run Henry to beat their cupcakes.

Hush kid, you're embarrassing yourself.

LF7 vs Auburn = 19 carries 230 yards, 3 TDs
Henry vs Auburn = 46 carries, 271 yards, 1 TD

LF7 vs Florida = 31 carries for 180 yards, 2 TDs
Henry vs Florida = 44 carries for 188 yards, 1 TD

LF7 vs Arkansas = 19 carries, 91 yards 1 TD
Henry vs Arkansas = 27 carries, 95 yards, 1 TD

Totals:

LF7 = 69 carries, 501 yards, 6 TDs, 7.1 ypc
Henry = 117 carries, 554 yards, 3 TDs, 4.7 ypc

Adrian Peterson only had 748 because he nagged by multiple injuries.

That is probably more concerning that carries. The best way to see if a player breaks down is seeing if a player breaks down. I also think when you look at high volume guys like Eric Dickerson and Ricky Williams who are probably held out often as the poster children for "too many carries" they didn't start to break down till they his their 30s (or this drug years for Ricky)

Ok that is good but those runs happened. I don't get the argument of taking out certain stats. You can't just ignore something because it doesn't fit what you are saying.

1.) Because the one and only thing his garbage team has accomplished since coming to this conference is beating Alabama...

Without that one single win A&M would be looked at the same way we look at Kentucky (though I actually have some respect Kentucky).

2.) He hates LSU because LSU owns his school, so he rides the coat tails of a team that has had recent success against LSU.

The best player to ever play for A&M lost to LSU everytime he played them and had his worst games of career against LSU.

That summarizes all that texag7 is.
