This is his second minor injury this off-season. Kid has a bunch of money on the line if he gets injured. Has LSU insured him?

What was his first? This is first time he's reportedly had anything remotely wrong with him. He was held out 1 day in the Spring because he was out of shape and they didn't want to overwork him. I think Les called that one a "soft tissue issue" or some shite.

He is a top ten pick right now. He needs to do everything to insure he stays in the top ten. The only thing that could prevent that is a major injury.

They let him run wild on those terrible rushing defenses they played last year so probably the same.

A. He has insured himself for millions.

B. He'll still get a ton of carries, but probably a few less than last year because Guice is looking so damn good and has fully grasped the offense in his second year.

They need to make a call on whether they want him to be LSU or worry about his pro career. Do you Let him build up awesome stats against the Auburns, who didnt want to tackle him, FCS schools, and pourous defenses of A&M or do they want him to be the bell cow against teams that actually have a defense.
He seems to have a little propensity for getting "nicked". To LSU fans it seems they care more about pro careers than college so I would give him tons of carries against the high school defenses and limit his carries against teams that actually hit him so he can blossom as a pro. If I'm coaching I give him 45 carries a game but LSU seems to care about pro careers so I would limit him to 10 carries in games against defenses that actually have talent.

1) I'm almost certain he has a policy.

2) His pitch count will go down this year with the emergence of Guice.

3) Thanks for worrying about Leonard, I'm sure he appreciates it.

Yeah because Leonard is a fricking person not a horse. You give him a reasonable amount of carries but don't run him into the ground.

I'm sorry you can't wrap your head around anything out of Tuscaloosa, AL but there's a whole big world out here that doesn't include Alabama football. Damn right we're proud of our players and what they accomplish in the NFL.

We lost to LSU last year 21-19 and the biggest difference was LF. We threw all over their secondary but could not stop the run. The guy is a man child. A pure beast. Top 10 pick for sure and trust me, he is insured to the max.

His pride and his Heisman campaign were injured during a game last November I think.
