To be fair, Jones UNT team did go and punk Trent Johnson LSU team pretty bad in the PMAC.

Now, LSU fans are going to see what kind of coach Jones is having a couple of studs coming in…not as easy as some think. Takes a special coach to reign them in and to buy into the team concept. We will see, I just don't see LSU being world beaters next year…because Simmons and Blakney will want theirs, and they will get it…if it means the other on the team being left behind (I guarantee you, the M/M pair know it).

We won't be world beaters unless one of Mickey and Martin come back, Elbert Robinson develops, and Craig Victor is as good as we think he is. point being: we have serious concerns in the post at this point in time. that can change depending on Mickey and Martin

We're probably only a 5-8 seed if both Mickey and martin leave

Mickey and Martin know if they stay, their production and points will go way down (could view as hurting their draft status)…because Simmons is going to get his.

Like I said, it will take a special coach to make it work…listen to Cal's interview that I have linked up, Jones is going to sell the concept about team…if not, it will crumble.

Mickey might not have a choice anyways. He's an NBA 3 that has to play the 4. We'll have the depth next season where he can action at the 3. It would be really wise for him to come back.

on the other hand, Martin is playing his way into the first round. It's well known his financial situation is shaky, so I'm expecting him to leave.

Even getting just one back is a huge victory. As far the challenge of handling so much young talent-it'll be interesting to watch unfold, yes. It'll be nice to actually have a veteran roster for once. it's a nice blend of youth and veterans

eta: Mickey and Martin also understand the publicity they'll get playing with Simmons, Blakeney, and possibly Newman

seriously? How much money are your boosters paying? What elite recruit would want to play for JJ and a fanbase that can't even fill up a 13k arena. They also leave early and boo their own team. At least Gamecock fans stay the whole time, even in down years.

All 75 people who showed up to this game will stay until the end? How do you do?

Also they get players to commit to them the same way Alabama gets basketball players. They promise them tickets to the football games.

It's good being part of the elite in college basketball again and getting to sit back and watch the bottom feeders bicker.

I'm loving life right now
