Does it fricking matter. It's still top 60 national guys that are damn good. The point of your post was to act like JJ didn't recruit these elite players and they just came because of some other connection.

I don't know the details on every player recruited to play for LSU, but clearly the player liked something to sign there.
I mean Trent Johnson's garbage arse got Johnny O'Bryant to go to LSU, so anything is possible.

Negative guy, I was showing that they aren't random players that Jones payed off to go to LSU as previously stated. Obviously the head coach of a D1 program is going to have to put in work to get any recruit to go to their school.

That doesn't even make sense. The random guys would be the ones he actually recruited hard and the guys who have other connections(as you put it)would be the guys you paid off because they are the elite of the elite

The point being that Jones saw there is/was an opportunity to get these guys because they have a connection to LSU. Why do you think LSU offers every player worth a fugg in Louisiana? They have a better shot at landing those guys than every player in the state of (for example) Washington. With your defensive way of thinking, I can see where you'd misconstrue my statements.
So, because Ben Simmons Godfather is a coach at LSU, Johnny Jones would have to pay off Simmons off to come to LSU? You aren't making sense.

You are missing the point. Dale Brown had stacked teams. Oddly enough one of his least talented teams made the final 4. Always thought that was funny.

No really, you seem to be missing the point, he was just about always IN the tournament. JJ hasn't even made a tournament yet (at LSU), not sure where I see the similarities thus far.
