I like Stoops but only one of his family tree. He is a defensive coach and I love defense...why the hell some of you numbnuts dont see the beauty is pads a popping is beyond me.
Anyway...after we curbstomped them ...they finally gave Steve Johnson the reins at QB and it has made a difference to the team. Poor Drew Barker had all the intangibles, the arm, the height and all that...but he got color blind too quickly. He did manage 10 yds passing against us Im honestly afraid of UK next year when we trip to Lexvegas

Johnson took over when Barker went out with a back injury against NMST.

I wouldn't say the East standings in October mean much for a comparison between two coaches. My Wildcats are improving but I wouldn't say we've built anything yet. For example Stoops best win is still likely South Carolina two years ago and he's yet to beat Butch Jones and Tennessee. Something I hope we change this year.
If I had to pick between the two though I'd absolutely go with Stoops just on the basis that he's not a complete tool.

Superstroke33 needs to be educated. Kentucky only has 8 seniors on their entire team. That is lowest in college football. They return 10 starters on offense and 9 starters on defense next year. To say Stoops isn't building something is you not being educated on Kentucky's roster. If your team returned 19 starters next year on a team that was currently 4-2 in SEC, would you say your team wasn't building anything?

It's a little early for this. UK could lose the next 2 games and be behind Tennessee in the rankings.

Shouldn't we wait until after TN and Kentucky play?
I've heard this Stoops is ahead of Jones thing 3 years in a row and then we beat KY by 30.
In two weeks it is very likely that TN is 3-3 in the SEC and Florida is only sitting a half game ahead of TN after a loss to Arkansas.
You all are all going to feel really dumb when TN is in Atlanta still (which we will lose by 100 but I still think we get there).
