Yes.
By default tho.. best talent=most likely to have scenarios that involve high end cheating.
There are some other dynamics, but elite talent draws out the "competitive edge".

That is not true at all. The big mistake ole miss made was not winning shite before they started buying. Win a few years then make a big move up in the recruiting game and it isn't so obvious

The SEC has always had a well deserved rep of being dirty. However, any,ANY big time program cheats. Even those holier than thou big 10 and acc schools. The SEC gets pointed at because we win so much but it's no worse at Bama or florida than at Mich or ohio state. Schools with more money buy better players and can hide it better. Some palms are probably greased at the NCAA hq too. Had a college coach ask me once what's the first thing u do when u get a college job. I said hire a staff? He said no, u find out who are the boosters that pay....and he didn't smile when he said it.

I do love how head coaches are not responsible for their assistants anymore. This whole calipari, pitino, saban I don't care what you do as long as I don't know about it plausible deniability stinks to high heaven
I'm sure all these assistants are just rogue individuals. Saban is the most controlling all ahole in college football. He knows what these guys are doing. Just because he doesn't directly hand out the cash, he's safe. What is this? Mob rules?

Alabama's football program is only worth a gazillion dollars and have been put on NCAA sanctions numerous times.

1. Alabama - They are very good at cheating and not getting caught. Elite Cheaters.
2. Ole Miss - Big Cheaters that got caught and didn't win a damn thing; Rookie Cheaters.
3. LSU - Cheaters that take care of each other. The whole state has LSU's back. Family cheaters.

There was a book written called Meat Market, about recruiting. Hilariously, it was about Ed O at ole miss. There was a quote that stuck out to me. Along the lines of "you don't get in trouble unless you start winning bidding wars."

Look at how corrupt our gov't and politics are. So of course, it isn't too far fetched to imagine that other places are just as corrupt.
I do think most SEC coaches probably aren't the ones giving the money, but I'm sure they either know about it, or try their hardest to not find out about it.
