How crooked is the SEC?

Is the Ole Miss scene the norm conference wide? I think our national perception was already pretty bad. I also hope that the rebel mess is just being exaggerated. What do you think?

Call me naive but I prefer non-cynical. I do not think many schools in the SEC have coaches directing payments to players. $100 handshakes? Sure. Not a whole lot you can do about that

It's not rampant the way ole miss cheats. If it was, there would be no ole miss. On a level cheating playing field ole miss wouldn't pull recruits, they have to go above and beyond. They did, they got caught, they will pay the price

Honestly, I ask mainly because if we're all doing it and the bears are just unfortunate in that one of their own got sloppy and now they have to pay then maybe we should hope nothing major comes from it. I'm trying real hard not to be too judgemental about their situation. The shoe was on the other foot not long ago and as an everyday alumnus most of us don't participate in those activities and we are the ones that pay for the sins of the minority.

Ole Miss isn't supposed to be good. Just like SMU wasn't supposed to be good.
When SMU started beating out Texas, OU and Penn St for recruits that sent the red flags up.
Ole Miss is damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they are awful it's because it's Ole Miss, they're supposed to be bad. If they're good, it's because they are cheating. And there's nothing they can do to change that perception.

OM is cheating outside the acceptable levels in the SEC. This is one reason they are a target. I'm 100% serious.
