Nope I love Gus. He got a raw deal during the MOTHO YEARS. He is getting up there with Petrino as far as offensive genius is concerned. He's just not the right guy for Arkansas anymore.

I don't mind Gus at all. He was attached to some shady characters up here but he seems like a nice enough guy. His wife is a bit out there but what can you do?
Err... is this going counter to the flow that the OP hoped to establish? Sorry. He seems like a weird but decent guy. That's about the worst I can say about him.

Its the tRant dude, I don't bother insinuating. Most wouldn't get it any way. You say something here, say it as plain as possible.
Quite a few people on here think that all Arky fans automatically despise and hate Malzahn. Most of us either don't, or actually wish him well.
The two times I bumped into him in person he seemed like a nice enough guy. In comparison HDN was sort of a jerk, while Nolan Richardson was friendly and out going.

I think Malzahn is slightly overrated, but he knows his stuff and is a class act. I will always have respect for him not hanging 100 on LSU last season

When Gus is on the sideline, I despise him. His fist pumps, "hurry-hurry-hurry," and "booms" annoy me, as they lack the sophistication of...Saban throwing his headphones, screaming at the refs, and slapping his QB on the arse.
But when I hear Gus' press conferences, he seems somewhat likeable. Doesn't seem like the jerk that he appears on the sidelines at all.
