Just to sound like the typical Bammer...we've got more.
Got 4?
I'm sure somebody will say we don't count video boards correctly and if they counted them like we do they would have 8.

The only thing that would make me care about Arky's jumbotron was if they were playing a lesbo sex film starring Berts wife and another hot girl.

Look at all the SEC undercard schools battling it out for biggest jumbotron. When you install them 5-8 years after all the big schools do, of course you're going to go bigger.

Why is USC's resolution so shitty? That looks like a jumbotron image from the mid-90s.

I know you don't really care and just like to be an a-hole to our fanbase for some reason, but it looks fine.

Jumbotrons are great for showing replays and closeups of people in between plays. It adds value to the experience of people who appreciate it, and its being there doesn't mean you have to look at it if you don't want to.

What do people do when they stop to watch the replay on the screen??? One thing for sure, they aren't screaming their heads off and making noise. It greatly reduces the home field advantage.

Noticed last season especially with only one video board available that it is a pain in the arse to have to turn around to see a replay on the video screen. Mucho glad that LSU will now have three. Now the refs will have easy access to unofficial instant replay without looking too obvious!

Even before the expansion LSU had one larger than the other and it was hard to see the smaller one sometimes.

I agree. I'd rather have multiple smaller screens to occasionally look at than a screen that begs you to look at it

This^^^^^^ Nothing takes the noise out of a stadium like people stopping to turn and watch the replay on the Jumbotron. It drastically negates the advantage of the large stadium.

This is complete horse shite that you just made up.

It's only loud when the opposing team is about to run a play on offense. It wouldn't need to be loud during an instant replay.

I dont care to have the biggest. I like what Alabama has done. Place then in the corners just above the lower bowl section. Everyone in the lower bowl has a very easy look to at least two jumbotrons.

Some of these jumbo trons, while very big, are tucked up in the fatherst part of the stadium.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers so I will use Reliant/NRG stadium as an example. They have two very big jumbo trons but they are tucked above evry seat in the stadium. If you have great lowr bowl seats then you have to pan your neck straight up and away from field to view the Jumbo tron.

IN the end, we all would prefer our own hand held TV to watch replays. So it is about comfort and ease to watch any Jumbo tron.

"Jumbotrons are a distraction."
"Recruiting stars don't matter."
"Director's Cup standings include arcane sports."
"US News college rankings aren't valid."
"No one really cares about [that] sport anyway."
"Stadium size is meaningless."
