The expansion we are currently working on was built so that we could potentially knock down the future scoreboard and scoreboard club and just build up. Would be a much more convenient expansion.

I like State's new endzone. I think renovating the home side upper deck would be the next phase if it were up to me. Make it match the opposite side and improve the symmetry of the stadium.

That's the main thing that bothers me about VHS, the lack of symmetry with the boxes/club seating.

Endzone is engineered for 22 additional skyboxes and a 7k seat upperdeck. This was in the introductory press conference. All footings/design work is already in place -- and it can be done in a single offseason.

Next phase is a lower east concourse renovation and west side mid-deck renovation into skyboxes. There is a chance we'd demolish the west upper deck and start over depending on the price tag...

THIS. I don't mind the lower decks being different, but the upper decks stick out like a sore thumb.

That's what I said. He was talking about the other endzone. That would take much longer than an offseason.

There was a nice article on the front of this website that featured the (i think) 6 different SEC stadium projects. Can't find it now, but it had some decent photos of all, including a recent shot of the Faurot east side from west stands.

That's a stadium war to keep an eye on, for sure.

Yeah the parking garage part of that is as critical as the new arena, relating to expansion.

I understand the parking situation at Ole Miss is currently a nightmare, due to construction. We LSU fans feel your pain, but for us, traffic has been more affected by construction than parking to date.

Yeah, parking is always a headache at OM regardless of construction. I'm excited to see the final product of the arena/garage project.

Actually, we're going to be at 61,337...

Be interesting to see how many Scoreboard Club tickets we sell in the future. Selling 1000 tickets to cover 1000 seats this year, which includes a pretty damn big/open indoor club and all that "roof concourse" space to basically tailgate on... It's likely to make that actual seating section seem sparse all the time if we don't sell alot more tickets than we have seats...

Regarding Mizzou's Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium expansion, I found a couple of renderings I hadn't see on here before:

Awesome makes Faurot look like a legit stadium, and much more balanced. Also notice no horrendous light poles in the pictures

Yeah I was just kidding. I'm guessing State and Ole Miss will be going back and forth for the title of larger stadium in the near future.

And that new rendering of Faurot looks great. It's fun to see all of these projects coming together.

A great view but not quite as up to date as the rest.

View of the NE corner. Again not quite as up to date.
