Those are outstanding shots, Jefferson Davis--great angles.
The gray clouds forming in the sky makes the venue look all the more foreboding.

Probably.
But sometimes weird can't be helped.

Thanks!

That storm rolled in very quickly. There was only about a 3 minute gap between when the first pictures were taken (sunny) and the later pictures were taken with those clouds.

Gotta love the weather down here.

I heard that.
Same system moved through Texas.
The cloud coverage made for perfect lighting conditions, though.

I'm very impressed with how the SEZ expansion is coming along...the pictures simply don't do this structure justice -- images just don't convey the scale.

My only gripe is that LSU found a way to add more ads inside the stadium. We've all seen the HD advertisement board in the north end zone that features a small replay screen, but now from what I can see the team bench has ads on it as well as the concrete wall dividing the east sideline seating and the original tiger den suites under Cannon's number.

I'm surprised LSU's AD hasn't cut ads into the turf, projected ads onto the outside of the stadium, or renamed it, "Verizon Field at Coca-Cola's Tiger Stadium sponsored by Capital One." Is there any AD in the nation that crams more ads into its venues than LSU? Of course I understand some ads, but damn...

DWS already has much more of a "big league" look to it, IMO. Major improvement.

I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't look like a high school stadium anymore

Would look pretty badass if y'all ever enclosed the other endzone, too.

It would, but that's long down the road. the next step would be to build an upperdeck on top of the new expansion.

DWS looks great.

I wait with jealous anticipation for our north end zone expansion at VHS.

I guess it kinda does. If they build another endzone they will have to completely demolish the building and scoreboard, which could be costly and time consuming. Maybe more than an offseason would allow.
