Hopefully this entertains us at least up to August. It's been pretty dry in here. Thought Media Days would liven it up but it's been a dud all week

Of course the lawsuit is about money. Who in their right mind would ever hire
Nutt after this lawsuit ? Great timing for them to file. Just a shakedown and it will
probably work. Too much money in college football now.

Please- he's like a cartoon character. Hugh evidently opened his mouth like he opened his fingers on that 'prove it' tweet he made years ago. HDN may be a loser turd but it's not like his successor is any better of a person.

At first, I thought the alleged Nutt lawsuit against OM was ludicrous. He had been paid in full for his contract when OM fired him. He ran that program into the ground and he has Academic Fraud under his regime thrown on him by the NCAA. No decent football program would seriously pursue him just due to those detrimental issues.
Now I see the other side of the lawsuit, and "if" Freeze actively petitioned journalists to publicly print the narrative that the entire NCAA case was on Nutt just to save his '16 recruiting class, then Nutt has every right to go after OM. We all saw how the media was mislead and totally lied to regarding the NOA.
There may not be a program worth a shite that wants Nutt for a coach, but he damn sure didn't deserve to be portrayed as the main catalyst for the NCAA laying the hammer down on OM. And I have a feeling that the NCAA came back for blood in the second investigation because they saw what Freeze/Bjork were doing to sway the public perception. The NCAA wanted to make damn sure that everyone knew who the real culprits were in the infractions resulting in LOIC and FTM on Freeze.
i really didn't think OM could screw this up any worse. Why the hell are Freeze/Bjork is employed?

So Nutt can't go to court because he has bad football teams?
Is that why Hugh couldn't go to court?

What could be more entertaining than a multi-million dollar lawsuit against an SEC institution for Breach of Giggity Enjoyment, or Infliction of Giggity Distress?
At this point, Houston Dale Nutt has a chance to bring more years of enjoyment than 99% of SEC coaches

They're riding the the ship all the way down. I also don't understand it. It's like there isn't anybody in charge down there.

Oh there's people in charge alright. Archie and his brood of boosters have run things for a long time. They got their puppets in Bjork and Freeze. Forward ReBears took over the athletic department and even started pulling the chancellors chains until Dan Jones pushed back. Forward ReBears then brought in Vitter to complete the trifecta of stooges.

That's the whole issue, no ones been in charge at OM. They have multiple sports teams, multiple coaching staffs, multiple ADs, Academic Fraud, over a dozen Boosters, a half dozen named football coaches, over three dozen recruits, and an Asst AD running wild for years AND while under NCAA investigation! There is no semblance of "control."

If only Hugh Freeze had owned a cell phone not subject to such requests!!
oh wait, I'm sure he actually does
They have all learned. No one hardly gets government issued phones anymore for this very reason. They expense them and a lawyer reviews their texts and calls to determine what is public record.

I just got here. What is going on today?

Well, one thing is for sure. O is no longer the worst coach in Ole Miss history. At least he left the rebs with its best roster in 50 years and no probation, and he didn't try to burn the school down
