While wins and losses are easily calculated, it is Nutt's commitment to the academic success of his student-athletes that will continue to pay dividends for years to come.

Absolutely. Not only that, but if the NCAA uses their new penalty matrix and the charges stick (they likely will), it may be a long, long time before OM recovers from this.

Ole Miss sure hasn't been our problem under Bret when it comes to conference wins.

Nor will they be in the future, from the looks of it.

You're right, I just have to poke fun at him or I'll lose my god damned mind.

Although, their 5–7 team last year was in the game until the very last play and it took the biggest miracle play in Hog history to win the year before that. We're 3–1 against him by the grace of a generally angry and spiteful God, but I'll sleep a bit better when Freeze and his cheating arse are out and we have a demoralized and business-as-usual Ole Miss to deal with.

The essential problem Ole Miss faces with this suit is that the entire CFB world saw them do what Nutt is accusing them of doing

You nailed it. Nutt doesn't need the money, but the guy, as goofy as he is, has had a pretty good coaching career compared to many, many others.

At this stage and his age, I don't blame him for wanting to get his name out of the Ole Miss steaming pile of shite.

Holy shite. The irony of Houston Nutt using FOIA and cell phone records to allege wrongdoing.

This is funny.

It is mind blowing. There will be stand up comedy skits based on this.

It is also just hilarious that they would try to blame a guy that punch in his weight class for recruiting during his time at Ole Miss. They stead hovered around 7-10 classes in the SEC from 1999 to when he left Oxford.

Houston may just be one of the worst non-criminal people alive today - he is that grotesque of a person.

The Black Bears cann't let this suit go to trial regardless of any merit. They have to settle. Up until now, this has all been about the NCAA's rules & regs. This is a civil law suit, meaning depositions will be taken, under oath. And like any good plaintiff atty, Nutt's will fire a shot gun up in the sky & see what shite falls down. A trial would lead to one huge legal fishing expedition by Nutt's atty. And a good meaty civil suit/trial can last years.
