Honest Question--Has Ole Miss football program Surpass LSU?

I'm not flaming, Trolling or baiting. I strongly believe you can look at a program overall health in Sets of 4 obviously reflection of recruiting classes and on the field wins.
Miles is an Excellent Coach, no one will argue that if LSU is eliminated in November as an Playoff contender it will be 2015 again. Freeze seems to have backing and full support of Alumni/Trustees.
Ole Miss has pulled even with LSU recruiting wise. Despite having less than 50% of the talent in state compared to LSU. That means their footprint is being recognized on a national level now.
What I seen and heard from LSU friends it seems to be an All in type of year for you Guys. If this year is an 11/12 win total season is that good enough for you guys?

Ole Miss needs to win the West at some point.
They have won some big games, but until they win the west and SECCG I will still say that LSU is "surpassing" them.

No... Ole Miss hasnt surpassed LSU.
We beat the shite out of them on our home field this season but like the other poster said, until the Rebels get over the hump and make it to ATL we cant even have this conversation.

Win and make it to championship. Win the west at some point. They have not came close yet.

The conversation has at least changed. All I used to hear on this board was: Totally irrelevant, and will never be relevant....can't beat Alabama......mercy kneee.....Ole Miss At Home Again, etc.
Now in the last few years we've been to Omaha. We've won the SEC Basketball tournament.
In football we've beaten Alabama twice in a row. Freeze is 2-2 against LSU, 2-2 against Alabama, 2-2 against Auburn, and 3-1 against State. The only team Freeze has a losing record against in the West is Fat Bert. And everyone knows they're not a threat.
So, yeah. 4th and 25, and never been to Atlanta.
But now people are saying: You can't say anything until you've been to Atlanta. But no one with any sense is saying we'll never get there, or we don't have a chance to win.
As a perennial doormat, all we really asked from Freeze was for the narrative to change. And we're there in only four years.

ETA: Even when we were losing to everyone in football, we always had LSU fans to look down on. As long as the majority of your posters are like this guy, that will never change.

Remember: You've got to beat Ole Miss, Alabama, and Arkansas consistently to be successful in the SEC West. We haven't been able to do that lately.
But we're doing better than LSU at it.
