Norman OK and Fayetteville AR have always been basically North Texas as far as recruiting. If they'll just hire a guy with the connections down there we'll kill it in recruiting. Fayetteville is the best city to live in in the entire SEC.

Besides, Fayetteville is one of the nicest places to live in the country.
Based on what exactly?
Compared to Dallas it sure isn't.

Problem is 10 different 'lists' like that have 10 different results. None of them are the same.

Meh, Arkansas has always lured talented players from Texas.
Now you're just lying to yourself.

Sure, the problem is your line about "Based on what exactly?". Well, a respected source has Fayetteville in the top 5 so maybe there is something to it. I guess the people at US News/Business Insider don't know anything.

I am happy to see that "The Chad" has SMU going in the right direction. I think the only thing that keeps him there is if SMU gets invited to the Big 12 and I don't see that happening.
His Alma mater is Texas A&M so I am guessing he is holding out for that Job if it comes up...
He nearly left for Baylor last year but decided to stay at SMU when he couldn't get an out in his contract for A&M.

Norman? Yes
Fayetteville? Nah.
In the recruiting pecking order of foreign schools, Arkansas sits behind Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and LSU. Usually, Arkansas has to fight off schools such as SMU, UofH, Kansas, and Tulsa for Texas recruits.

I'm sure Arkansas will talk with him. They'd be foolish not to. Hopefully though, they'll have a few good ones to choose from and everybody ends up happy.

Oh, please. Just because the other poster is being hyperbolic doesn't mean you have to as well.

Arkansas can recruit Texas well enough to still hold a 10 game lead over Aggy in their series.

I’m saying it’s unacceptable. If a Texas kid visits both Oklahoma State and Arkansas, and chooses Oklahoma State, the Arkansas staff should be fired.
Their current recruiting in Texas has far more to do with the types of players Bert wants and the kinds Texas produces.

He's a slightly smarter Gus Malzahn. His offense would get exposed in the SEC the way Gus has been exposed as a fraud.
