Putting LSU in there isn't fair to what Tulane and USM faced.
Baton Rouge and ESPECIALLY LSU were intrinsic to the story. One only had to be in the helicopter flight path or go over to the Asssembly Center triage to realize that. that may not be THE story, but it's certainly an important story.

Did the LSU players have to worry about where they would meet? Where they would sleep? Where they would practice? Would they have a season? No. And to be fair, even USM didn't face some of that. Seeing helicopters fly around you isn't shite compared to what Tulane faced. And at that time LSU didn't even have the N.O connection that is now there with Wilson.

Ok sure, whatever, I'll make sure you get right of first refusal on the script.

nice reply
you just included LSU in there to do it, what happened to the LSU team pales in comparison to what Scelfo and Tulane faced.

I have heard from sources that Steve Sullivan is pushing for '22 Straight', the story of Arkansas' 22 game winning streak in the 60's.
AND THE TEAM that ENDED IT!

Ole Miss had an unbeaten streak of 34 games between the 58 to 61 seasons.
I don't count losses to LSU as coonasses aren't actually real people.

^^^
we actually shared it with alabama...the football writer assoc voted us champions because we were only undefeated/untied team in nation...ap and upi voted bama # 1 before their bowl. bama lost their bowl to texas that year (we beat texas that year) finishing 10-1. we beat nebraska finishing 11-0. the following year ap/upi started waiting until bowls were over before voting.

Maybe the greatest run in the history of collegiate athletics.
An unprecedented documentary series featuring thirty films from some of today’s finest storytellers. I recall that - I was at the LSU vs Ole Miss game in Oxford in 1960. Ole Miss was #2, LSU came into the game with four straight loses. Ole Miss kicked a late 4th quarter fg to salvage a 6-6 tie.

Oklahoma says no. And let's give Alabama one too then. They won 26 straight from 1991-1993.
