You act like McCarron was in his third year of starting when he won a NC.

He can be for sure. However, the expectation is that the "4 years of suffering" is over. JJ is finally gone and the ball is going to be slung around like a hot potato..

No one with a brain really believes we are going to just sling the ball around. We have 3-4 serviceable RB's...

While I agree about having to see ZM in a meaningful game, you can't say shite about him at UGA. Neither he nor Murray could beat Joe Cox out in '09 and they were battling in the Spring of '10. Richt pretty much only announced Murray the starter once Chestenberger got kicked off the team.

1/9 is in the past

BUT..

It was a similar result to the dethroning of Tebow and UF in 2009, it couldn't have been avoided, Bama was a team on a terminator mission

Look, congrats and all on winning. Ya'll were a great team. But please quit acting like Bama was on a mission to play in the BCSNCG in 2011.

Just like we needed help in 2007, ya'll needed help in 2011. Nothing new, it happens.

And how many starts did AJ have as of 8/31/11?

actually not many LSU fans think that.

The offense will still favor the RBs, I-formation and play action, similar to what Lee did last year, but with more vertical passing and maybe a few more passes a game. It wont be drastic and most LSU fans know that.

Orly? How do you start a game if you get kicked off a team before you have a chance, Bear reincarnate?

Who cares? That stuff ended over a decade ago. Get with the times.

I actuallY think most fans of LSU think this, but I disagree, when Les has had a QB he thinks is capable of making downfield throws, his play calling turns stupid and he seemingly forgets the running game altogether, that could've been previous OCs not sure, but for how much dedication LSU had this year to the run game, under Les as I have seen it has always been on the after burner, just my opinion, but a dedication to the run game this year will help Mett develop better in LSU's game plan on offense

Slung around to me would mean around 45% passing, with post routes being a legitimate part of scheme.

I would take LSUs WRs over Bamas, but Bama's TE over LSUs.

The only reason I listed Bama is a few guys like D. White, C. Jones, and K. Norwood already have camaraderie in game situations with AJ and that will take time for Mett, it could've been a push since LSU has some talent I know, but that connection and returning QB made the difference IMHO

And as I stated on TEs, we both replace a few starters, Bama has recruited better at that position, but I gotta see all the guys in game situations, Brian Vogler look phenomenal for Bama in Aday game as a recording TE, but he also whiffed on a few blocks and allowed 2 sacks not acceptable for a 6'8 255 LB TE, the 1st whiff in a game and he's on the bench in a real game so I need to see
