1 more year of experience for all the young guys and a full year into the new system should help a lot.

How? By leaving the cupboard full for the next coach to come reap the rewards?

Haith realized Mizzou was going to be a dumpster fire this year

As the head coach, how does one "realize" that? Shouldn't that sentence say he caused the dumpster fire? Seems your anger at a former coach who couldn't wait to get out of Missouri is misplaced.

Never said we would win next year. It is going to be a 4-5 year reconstruction. Good things take time, my friend...

Anderson left you a top 10 basketball team. Are you saying that him leaving to take a better job was "screwing Mizzou over"?

Our young guys aren't so hot, because Kim had to throw together a class at the drop of a hat. Also, there is no senior leadership. I wouldn't expect you to understand logic, being an Arkansas fan, but damn.

Nobody saw THIS coming. Rebuilding year? Sure. Worst team in program history? Don't recall hearing that from anyone.

Really? Before the season, I was calling for 12-15 wins. Wes Clark looked HORRIBLE last year and barely played. JW III showed potential, but averaged just 4-5 ppg. Rosburg was one of our top returning players. What kind of season did you think we would have? lol

True but.....true we knew it was going to be a painful rebuilding year and true no one really thought it could be historically bad BUT we didn't know about all the kids that would get booted or "mutually agreed" to leave.

That's my point. 12-15 would have been bad.

7, which is very likely to happen, is historically awful. I didn't expect us to be very good, but I certainly didn't expect to turn in the worst season in school history.

True. I get what you are saying. Honestly, for me, it comes down to this. If the team isn't good enough to make the NIT, it doesn't matter if they win 2, 6, or 12 games. I am optimistic after watching the games against Illini, Ok. St., Arkansas, and even the Kentucky game we played at home. We obviously need better personnel. It isn't as much about getting the big recruits as it is getting a group of players to completely buy into the system. As of now, that is yet to be seen, but give the guy time. I think we knew this was going to take a few years to build.

I am not under the opinion that he screwed us over. He left for his dream job and I would gladly take a great coach from another school if they wanted to be at Mizzou regardless of how it left that school. That said Anderson gave up on recruiting early into his last season at Mizzou once the writing was on the wall and left us no underclassman. So he isn't as bad as some Mizzou fans make him out to be but is not as rosy as the Razorback fans picture him to be either.

shite happens. Haith on the other hand took the little Anderson left him, had a fantastic season with Anderson's seniors, and then destroyed the program.

They weren't just top 10 that season, they ended up losing to Norfolk as a #2 seed but they really should have been a #1 seed.

IMO when we decided to hire Kim Anderson it was a sign we are focusing the majority of resources on football.

Kim Anderson was a coach we could get cheap and it would satisfy the older boosters who thought he deserved a chance to coach at Mizzou.

Some will argue it is the talent not the coach. Maybe but if you go by recuiting rankings this is the most talented team we have had since Snyder was the coach.

I thought we may struggle some just because we are young and have a new coach. This is unacceptable though.

Aw hell, it might be worse next year with the players transferring out...and you know it's going to happen when a team is this dysfunctional.

We have 3 new recruits (two signed) for next year, but I suspect they are looking for ways off the laughingstock train.

We are setting records for the worst team in school history in 2015....and maybe even more records in 2016.

I'm not usually this negative...but gawt dang is this team bad.

The reason Mizzou fans are pissed is because Anderson literally left us with 0 recruits. He stopped recruiting and left late, our 2011 class was 2 transfers that Haith somehow convinced to come, but they had to sit a year. For the 2011-2012 year we had zero new players... ZERO!!!! We never really recovered from that year of not recruiting.
