It's the same exact thing with the LSU fans who get bent out of shape with the corndogs thing and say "it doesn't make any sense"

I just think its funny how that's the go to for so many people when there are multiple fairly regular posters who were in the corps and then went into service

I have no idea what this means, sincerely. It appears you believe most of the posters here were in the Corps. I can promise you that isn't the case or even close to it. Even when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and I was in school, the Corps was a small fraction of the student body. They show up so much because a) they show up so much and b) the uniforms are kind of a giveaway.

I mean it doesn't bother me, I can go on and on what I think about the corps. But I think its pretty reasonable to expect someone, like finest or lobotomy, who can get annoyed with being referred to as a fake army man when they've done more than 99% of this board has

You're reading waaay too much into it. People use the 'fake army' gambit because it's an almost surefire means of causing a flurry of flustered Aggie posters to go completely pear-shaped.
