Any fool who leaves Ingram off their ballot completely should have the voting privileges revoked henceforward. No one can say he is not at least top three.

Well, you obviously don't remember correctly. Maybe because you supported it?...

Plus Saban didn't leave Ingram in games late to pad his stats. Suh is a good argument but for a writer in the southeast to leave Ingram completly off their ballot and have Tebow on the ballot is insane.

Peyton also was screwed because an SEC quarterback had won the year before. Voters weren't gonna do it two years in a row.

I have seen the ballots of 4 different voters from Mississippi and NONE of them even have Ingram on their ballot, one even has Kellen Moore from Boise St at 3rd place.

And this goes back to the statement in the OP about voters with agendas. Last year Tebow had more first place votes than any other candidate but 192 voter left him off of their ballot completely. You can't tell me that those voters actually felt he was not a top three candidate they were negatively voting against him to help their guy out.

Arakis, I'm not nieve to the politics of college football I was just getting an idea if the posters on this board were of the opinion that I have that Ingram is a legit top three candidate. Of course I think he is a solid top two but I am biased. I know the award is not legit. Just wondering if anyone else could justify voters leaving Ingram off.

Not to mention that no one had even considered Suh untill Saturday night. If his championship game vaults him into contention then why should'nt the performance Ingram put up against the FL defense give a big push for him.

I-59 is this what it has come to. You've stooped to being the spell check police. I was actually hoping you would give an opinion on the subject due to your years of watching college football but I guess your personel opinions of me cant let you get over it.

I cant wait to hear the Gumps complaining when SUH or GERHART win the Heisman over Ingram.

Either one deserves it more. That is like me bitching about last year's results. Timy got the most 1st votes, but didn't win. IMO Colt deserved it last year.

I won't be upset if he does'nt win it. He's a Sophmore. If Tebow wins it then I'll get upset because it proves the obsession with Tebow is still Going On.

Personally I think that Anthony Dixon at Mississippi State meant more for his team than Ingram did. He averaged more yards per game than Ingram, and without him I know state would have struggled their asses off. While Bama without Ingram still would have won due to Great Defense and Superior O-Line and great WRs

You're right about Dixon being very valuable to MSU. However, we wouldn't have won as much as everyone thinks without Ingram. Teams started the season off game planning to stop Julio but they quickly learned that they needed to try and stop Ingram. If not for Ingram, our WRs wouldn't have been as productive. Yes we have a good OL but Ingram also leads the SEC in YAC and at one time he led the nation (not sure if he still does).

Why are you upset because the media obsesses about Tebow?
That is equivalent to me crying because Florida lost last Saturday.
Some people need fuller lives I guess.

Tebow has a right to cry, Urban has a right to go to the hospital. Football is what they do, what will feed them. To us is just a freaking game. Get over yourselves.

Was this addressed to me? I didn't say anything about Tebow in my post. Your reply was directed to me.

Ingram is a great player, but these guys saw what I saw when Bama played Auburn. You can put in Richardson or HELL even COffee and still have good production from the RB position for Alabama due to their bad arse O-Line
SUH- Beast dominated everybody all year
Gerhart- Beast playing behind a FAR inferrior O-line thank INgram
McCoy- QB for the other team playing in the National championship gam

So, if we go back and check the stats on Suh and McCoy, we will find that both did not have one bad game this year? I doubt that to be true-I watched McCoy have one. I suspect that Suh had at least one sub-par game also. I don't see how you can take a player out of contention for one game, especially a rivalry game.

Great job rebuttling my earlier comments too bad more Bama fans cant be as of a Straight shooter as you are. I agree with every single point you wrote, great job. I think Ingram has a 50/50 chance, but Im just a big Gerhart fan. The fact that im a State Alum doesnt help Ingrams case on my behalf either.
