Okay I understand that this thread can be an Ingram does/does'nt deserve the Hiesman debate, but put the names involved aside and label them players A,B and C. The answer I was after is whether or not posters feel that negative voting in Hiesman ballots is an isolated event or a rampant occurance that makes the award invalid.

Voters who feel really strongly about pimping one player will use the rest of their votes to sabotage another player and its bs. To not think Ingram is the best player... fine. To completely leave him off is bs.

I agree with your OP. The voting is ridiculous at times and some of the voters shouldn't be allowed to vote. Ingram, Gerhart, and Suh should not be left off ballotts IMO.
