He last played in 1997.

1) This was yesterday, a simple serach would show that
2) He never said he's trying to come back and play
3) A radio host said "looks like you could still play huh?" to which he gave typical radio fodder abotu "yeah I could probably get some carries"

much ado abotu nothing...nothign more than aubies obsession with us that is.

This Aub obsession for UGA is getting freaking ridiculous.

I don't know how you live amongst them.

I lived in Hoover for 2.5 years but there were nothing at all like this IRL over there.

After sleeping on it, do you still think he could make 5ish 3rd down carries per game and actually get positive yardage?

I think I speak for most AU people when I invite UGA to take over Alabama and reside with them. Those two fan bases deserve each other. We'll deal with the nerds.

Yes, I believe he could get 10 yards on 5 carries.

I would say him admitting he played Russian roulette on more than one occasion to be the "lost his mind" moment more so than thinking he could play in the NFL.

A think some of yall (not necessarily you flyau) have no idea what affliction he has. He's not schizophrenic, it's not like he has a bunch of personas where he's Herschel one day, Jeff another, Bobby the next, and Gloria the next. His mind (I have no idea if this is still occurring, but it did back in his younger days) would dissociate and he would essentially "black out" for periods of time. He said he has no recollection of the heisman ceremony, even while watching clips of it. He played russian roulette and held a knife to his wife...has absolutely no memory whatsoever of doing it. The people who think he has a bunch of different alter egos or something are just clueless.

Yeah I won't try to be a psychiatrist. Mental illness sucks and isn't a fair shot to take at someone. The Russian roulette thing though he actually talked about the times he did it as he felt that nothing could stop him and now he realizes it was anger that was projecting. It wasn't a blackout, just a scary mindset and obviously a part of his mental illness.
