Can't wait for UT to fall flat on its butt. They are way over hyped for a team that accomplished nothing last year. They are in a weak division but still.

VOLS would pistol whip Auburn this season. Too bad we won't get to see that

Yeah. Yeah. Bottom of the West is still better than middle of the East. Tennessee has no where to go but down.

Georgia has a true freshman QB, a first year head coach, star running back returning from a devastating injury and have to replace 5 of their front 7 on D.

We still have Lambert on our team who was the qb last year, so if a true freshman wins the job, we should be equal to what we did last year one would hope.

First year head coach, true, but he seems to be doing everything right so far. Plus he has made good hires and I'm sure he won't meddle with the offense too much. I think the D will be ready.

Chubb should be good, but what else do you expect us to say? If not, Michel is more than capable of picking up from where he left off last year without Chubb. Michel is a beast and had the best runs last year for us, even before Chubb got hurt. His run vs Tenn is just sick, but I'm sure most Tenn fans have put that far back in their minds.

Losing Floyd and Jenkins is a tough loss, as well as Ganus but we are loaded at LB and Carter and Bellamy are ready to step up. We didn't lose too much from the Dline as none was real stars, but T Thompson should start to blossom into one this year.

I actually think our D will be good enough if not pretty damn good. It will mostly boil down to our offense and how well our qb plays.

The poster you're responding too is a Mizzou fan not a Tennessee fan. I've been the one saying y'all are legit.

It will be LSU and UT in Atlanta,

In the last 8 years you are 5-12 against Ole Miss and Alabama. Yet this year you're going to beat us both?

OK.

1 loss Vols (to Bama) play Bama in Atlanta and lose.
A two lose Vols go to the Championship and beat tOSU.
Bama plays MI and wins.
Vols lose to Bama in the Championship game.

That means tVols lose to Bama 3 times in one year.
And Bama wins 2 in a row national championships

I think the only way they take both teams is if we split the regular season and conference championship games.

So we'll extend our streak over UTjr to 11 instead of just 10?

I know he is a mizz fan, but that run vs Tenn was so legit. It was one of my fav runs for a UGA player. Gurley had some great runs, but he never juked anyone like that.

Good, I like LSU's chances now. He was way off on his predictions last year

I'm not ready to say that LSU will beat Bama, but OM is a different story.
If Brandon Harris is the same as last year, we'll still beat OM. Y'all run defense won't be close to the level of 14'-15' teams.(and that's kind of what we're good at) We get y'all at home BEFORE the Bama game. That's important. It means that we will still be playing for something and will bring it to y'all the way we always should.

I don't know about the Gurley comparison (he was amazing to watch in college) but Michel was very effective that day. He gashed us over and over again. He's one of the reasons I'm higher on Georgia than others seem to be and probably why a lot of the rankings are still high on UGA despite the question marks offense and defense. A good RB can and does make a huge difference.
