You'll find a reason to get redneck mad at something during the season even if we do win. That's the way fandom works.
In all seriousness, Georgia is a legit team. ESPN puts us at 10 in their way too early poll and UGA at 12. We play them in Athens. Florida won't roll over and die as much as we'd like that and some other team we play will be surprisingly good. I expect us to win the East and I think that's a reasonable expectation but I don't think it's a shoo-in. If we get past our four game stretch and self-destruct on the back end I'll be mattress burning mad but I'm not taking shite for granted against UGA or UF.

I'm not disagreeing that we should be favored to win the division (that's what I expect) but I don't think it's quite the walk a lot of people think. Nothing is ever as easy as it looks in this conference and there's always someone who comes out of nowhere.
And then there's Florida...

Teams could pop up sure, but I'm saying that UT is easily the best team on paper and the only one with a succesful returning QB.
As we sit now there is no reason UT should not win the East. The other teams will not have as many question marks next year.
