re: Henry's Heisman whore-off was too obvious to the committee.

Henry played his best in some of the biggest games of the year and Fournette didn't. It's not hard to grasp.

Hey man, I'm just making a point that Fournette is a better player than Henry. If Miles had turned Fournette loose all year, he would have run for well over 2,000 yards.

You would have been better off because Harris wasn't gonna win you many games. Unfortunately, the fanbase has told Les loud and clear that they don't want to run the ball as they have in the past, so I expect Lynyrd's chances to produce may dwindle from a carries standpoint.

Another unfortunate casualty in L5U's mini-mutiny.

Here is a comparison of Fournette vs. Henry against common opponents.

Fournette

167 touches
1100 yards
10 TDs
6.6 yards per play

Henry

200 touches
1177 yards
8 TDs
5.9 yards per play

The analyst say that Fournette disappeared down the stretch.

Common Opponents: Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Miss St., Ole Miss, Texas A&M

I think most of those writers were concerned because Fournette has 458 carries through his career already. At the same point in his career, Henry only had 208.

Easier to see the concern, now?

Who gives a frick about the Heisman. If he wins it great for him, but there is a much bigger pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

We gave Henry 40+ carries because: 1. He can handle it without getting tired or injured (which speaks to his toughness and grit) 2. We have no decent backup 3. Henry is by far the most valuable player on the team (which is something I have not said about any Bama HB since Shaun Alexander). Saban could care less about a Heisman.

Literally everything you said here was complete bullshite, and you know it.

The last cherry-pick y'all cling to is Henry out-rushing LF in every single one of those games?

Also that's why Saban had Henry run 9 times against ChaSouthern in the final weeks of the season. To whore him out for the Heisman.

You fricking idiot.

The opposite. If Henry would have gotten more carries against CS, the backlash would have ruined his campaign.

With Drake injured, true freshman Damien Harris would have to handle the load at RB for Alabama.

Don't think he is quite up to the caliber of other former Tide true freshman RBs too, such as Ingram, Richardson, and Yeldon.

Good for him. Still doesn't change the fact that total yards is one of the weakest arguments there is when comparing 2 players.
