re: Henry's Heisman whore-off was too obvious to the committee.

No, it's about the most outstanding player FOR THAT SEASON.

One of those is not like the others.

Giving a guy 90 carries to boost his Heisman hopes was too transparent.
Meh. Calling 4th down timeouts with a 9 point lead and 26 seconds left in order to run up the score and pad Henry's stats is the real whore off that should be shamed.

OP thinks the CFP committee votes on Heisman?

Also that's why Saban had Henry run 9 times against ChaSouthern in the final weeks of the season. To whore him out for the Heisman.
You fricking idiot.

LF31 shouldn't have shite the bed in November.

I was thinking about him in terms of how much of a ugly MFer he is

Anybody wanna bet who has a better NFL career - Fournette or Henry?
Nothing says we suck at college football quite as much as this post. And a majority of L5U folks have this as their go-to line.
I wish our guys well in the pros, but that has zero effect on college football success or titles. It sure hasn't helped L5U.

and LSU was getting blasted by the media and talking about if Fournette should try to leave early after his whopping 31 carries against Florida

We gave Henry 40+ carries because:
1. He can handle it without getting tired or injured (which speaks to his toughness and grit)
2. We have no decent backup
3. Henry is by far the most valuable player on the team (which is something I have not said about any Bama HB since Shaun Alexander).
Saban could care less about a Heisman.

Fournette has another year. Henry is done in at most two more games. He barely played as a freshman and was a backup last year. The crap about overuse as it relates to NFL longevity is absurd.

It's funny that you think that's the criteria for the Heisman.

Hey man, I'm just making a point that Fournette is a better player than Henry. If Miles had turned Fournette loose all year, he would have run for well over 2,000 yards.

The faux outrage over Henry getting 40 carries was amusing to say the least.
