You think Ole Miss is better than ND?

Agree on the fact that he'll win it.

Disagree that he did more against better competition.

Auburn and A&Ms run defense begs to differ.

Yes. So are Arkansas, LSU, and Georgia w/Chubb. Notre dame is overrated. Always are. Tennessee would mop the floor with them.

Of course you do Ross. We know how important the Heisman is to Auburn.

I just don't think the SEC is any better than the other conferences this year. They got pretty exposed OOC this year. So no, I don't think the competition was better.

Also debatable, but I'd be more interested in an actual discussion on it rather than the shite slinging we'll see here.

If Henry wins it, it won't be undeserved. He's a beast. I just like the Stanford kid a lot.

Arkansas lost to Toledo

South Carolina lost to the Citadel (and lost to Clemson, but that's not that bad)

Florida got blown out against FSU and got really lucky to escape with the W against FAU

Ole Miss got blown out against Memphis

Vanderbilt lost to Western Kentucky and got blown out against Houston

Kentucky lost to Louisville and got taken down to the wire by Eastern Kentucky

Tennessee lost to Oklahoma

Georgia had to barely escape with a W over Georgia Southern

Auburn got taken into OT at home by FCS Jacksonville State.

Missouri beat BYU in a good win for them, but otherwise they were a dumpster fire all year.

I do not believe the SEC was significantly better than the Pac 12, ACC, or Big 10, or better at all even. It was a league with flawed teams from top to bottom with one really good team in Alabama.

Tennessee couldn't even beat Arky. Yet they'd beat Notre Dame, whose only two losses are against the #1 and #8 teams, on the road, by a total of four points??? Drugs are bad for you.

What stats are better than McCaffery?

YPC : Henry 5.9, McCaffery 5.8
Receiving yards: Henry 97, McCaffery 540
Return yards: Henry 0, McCaffery 1109

Who was the overall better player?

Competition was pretty even in my opinion. SEC not that strong in reality.

Tennessee almost beat the #2 and #4 teams. Double OT against #4. They are the second best team in the SEC when playing up to potential.

I find it odd that you excluded touchdowns and rushing yards, but included return yards - something that Henry has never done.

Why is that?

Oh well then. That explains it. South Carolina almost beat both of the teams that played in the ACC title game. Actually they did beat one. And nearly beat that vaunted Tennessee team at the end in the final drive, but the ball carrier got stripped before going in for the score. They'd beat ND too right?

Probably because total rushing yards are a largely irrelevant stat given that some backs play more games than others. Henry has played in 13 games and has almost 70 more carries than LF7 does.. and is only 245 total yards ahead of him. If LF7 had Henrys touches he would be hovering around 2,150 yards in 13 games

LF7 rushes for more yards per game than Henry (157 > 152). He has a higher ypc (6.42 vs Henrys pedestrian 5.86). The only reason Henry has more rushing yards is because He's played in 2 additional games. Not to mention he avoided the best front 7 in CFB. LF7, Elliot, and Cook are all better RBs than Henry.. what they don't have is the Crimson A hype train pushing them forward.

That being said.. Henry will probably win it. He had a hell of a season. But for a heisman RB.. he's going to take over Ingrams spot as the weakest RB to ever win the award.
