Great job by Gus. Give him an extension for making it happen.

He's going to look great showing off his vertical trying to catch passes from Bo.

Why would a TE come to Auburn?

Does Gus even use a tightend?

Gilbert wants to be a WR, doesn't want to block

Then he’d be making a huge mistake

I remember Nix air mailing a pass way over the head of TE Frazier(?) in the end zone last week in the 3rd quarter. I don't remember Nix ever targeting him or another TE in the game.

Maybe Gus has featured the TE in some other games, I don't know for sure.

The position just seemed to be a complete non-factor for AUB in their game plan vs. A&M.

Wonder what Gilbert is seeing there, except perhaps no competition for the position?

There are no rumors about Gilbert to Auburn

In fact, the Auburn board guys immediately said they think Auburn would be an unlikely destination

YEs Chad Morris was supposed to change that. He has had them on the field a lot more this year, but they still dont have many targets. They do have more than the past 3-4 years combined so I guess it's a step in the right direction.

Auburn has used alot of 2TE sets in the blocking game this year. Our TEs have been the best blockers all season.

They only got the one target to Frazier in the Texas AM game you are right.

That would imply that there was another option at QB. Guess what? There isn’t.

The one ingredient Gus is missing. A TE.
