Heisman finalist, going to the NC. That makes people start digging. not saying anything happened, but what if he got something, even a few bucks or some free clothing. They are just covering their arse. which is smart

Has absolutely nothing to do with this.

He is all over the media, has absolutly everything to do with it. If there was a bunch of Wade Christopher merchandise out there, there would not be any C&D ever even thought of.

No, it doesn't. This has nothing to do with Tyrann getting any money or anything. It's about someone profiting off of a student athlete's likeness which is not allowed by the ncaa.

As an experienced Bama fan, I'm firing up the t-shirt presses as we speak. Kiss his eligibility goodbye.

Exact same thing as the NFL trying to claim people couldn't sell "who dat" merchandise after the saints got to be a great team. Nevermind y'all the years the saints sucked. They want their cut when something sells.

Any conspiracy by an Alabama booster will get them:
1) 20 years in the federal pen
2) 50 years of probation for the football team
3) Nick Saban gone to Austin real quick

Start printing. You've just been turned in to the FBI...........................kidding LOL

Depending on the prison you go to...you could continue that trend.

I dont think the school can do anything other than have a number. They can't have any names , nicknames, or abreviations

Now, couple "honey badger" with #7 or LSU and it is.

What about a purple and gold honey badger with no LSU or 7's on it?

It's a travesty that Mike Linebacker isn't collecting some form of royalties here.

a jersey is licensed by the school. a yellow t-shirt w/ purple ink wouldn't need to be licensed unless it specifically identifies the school. i.e "LSU"... LSU compliance is just CYA w/ the NCAA. TM7's eligibility won't be in jeopardy unless he shows up to the stores for arranged autograph sessions.

a few years back, SC was able to cease the sales of the Smelley t-shirt because it contained the official trademarked logo, which required licensing.

what went on in Tuscaloosa is a completely different situation. how Trent Richardson didn't lose any eligibility amazes me.
