George...this event is commemorated on the East side of Faurot Stadium on Mizzou's "Wall of History". Are you implying the University of Missouri and my grandfather are liars?

Colorado should be ashamed. They never should've accepted the outcome of that game. What a farce.

You would think that with a LEGION of sports writing alumni that Missouri would get FLOODED with coverage.
It's too safe to write about your alma mater when you're a member of a trailblazing group like Mizzou alumni.

Killz, I and my fraternity brothers sought approval from the University to recreate this piece of history in the mid-nineties since Faurot wasn't being used for football at that time. Apparently some federal regulation prevented it. Thanks Bill Clinton.

And now 78 years later it's still the single most exciting, interesting, and watchable event to have ever occured in your stadium.

I know you jest about the italicized part, but what was the response when your fraternity wanted to recreate the Battle of Boone Lake?

Missouri didn't admit that until recently, though.
