Actually FT was a baseball player and a football player at the same time at Auburn, but came to AU on a football scholly. When he hurt his ankle, Dye allowed him to go full time Baseball. So, not sure it was a position change as much as a change of sport.

Gabe Gross was a baseball player and football player at AU as well, then went to MLB.

Jason Witten came to Tennessee as a defensive end.

Now a possible hall of famer at TE.

Not counting transferring to another school and changing positions. One school whole career. Has any player ever had more success with a position swap than Blake?

I would say JJ Watt. Started out at Central Michigan I believe as a TE, then ended up at Wisconsin and started at DE in 2009. Now, he's the best DE in the league.

I'll throw a name out. Ingle Martin was the starting punter at Florida in 2003. He transferred to Furman and made it to the NFL as a QB, playing for 3 or 4 seasons. In fairness, he was also recruited as QB to Florida but they signed a guy named Chris Leak after his freshman season. I threw his name out there because he was the best football player I ever saw in person in high school. Guy was making 50 yard field goals, booming punts, played strong safety, and started at QB. Just a freak of a football player.

I think that's what he's after. But What has Sims done that Marshall hasn't?
