Mississippi runs the media. That's why the state is always portrayed so favorably in television and movies.

I am not sure this is unfolding the way the OP envisioned.

I don't remember noticing this during the game. But I might have been past the point of no return at the time, what a shitty day

It's not that they think Mississippi is worse than the other Southern states - they lump us all together. It's just that this is the only thing they associate with the landmass. It's not spiteful ignorance, just ignorance.

Same way these same people think anything to do with Brazil must be either the Amazon jungle or carnival in Rio. They just stereotype way too damn much.

So this is the Alabama fans big takeaway from the game; A photographer took pictures of a ref????

You seem tone deaf to the fact that the ref made one of the most blatant no calls imaginable. It was a 7-10 point swing in the game. If that had happened to Alabama (I know it would never happen) your coach, AD and governor would have been on the field demanding a reversal of the call.

Perspective please.

I think if the refs are intimidated by a stick boy taking their pic they have no business on the field with 300lb athletes, half of whom will be pissed with every call they make. you picking up what I'm putting down yet?

Wait, so you're really going with the Ole Miss sent him out there conspiracy? And that his dumbass didn't just hop out there on his own accord?

My money is on Buffalo Wild Wings.

I bet thats all the refs could think about when they reviewed the pick at the end of the game.... "OMG!! What if that guy with the camera is still here??!!"

So you think during that very short time period, the Ole Miss staff saw the bad call and instead of waiting to see what would happen, instead of hollering at the refs, instead of doing all the things normal coaches do at that moment, they instead went to a camera man and told him to take pics of the ref so they could use them later?

Good thing our coaches were able to get a picture of the guy. Otherwise, we wouldn't have known who it was.

The photographer should have his credentials pulled, but you're going full on retard melt to suggest the school sent him out there to intimidate the ref.

Has the SEC office made a comment on the photographer Ole Miss sent on the field to intimidate the refs? Surely the refs themselves will say something. One of the more classless moves by a team I can remember.
