Terrible post. Masoli was great last week and is OM's best offensive player.

Yeah he was great...

Against the #54th defense in the nation, and not good enough to win the game...

Yeah he's good!

Masoli is a good athlete. His fundamentals aren't very good.

Its hard to judge him, though, as he appears to be running for his life every down.

Are you on meth like Mallett?

If you didn't come away from that game impressed with Masoli, you don't know football. He had 327 yards passing and almost 100 rushing with 3 TDs and no turnovers.

Weren't some of you Arkansas clowns claiming your defense had arrived this season before the game?
Ole Miss lost b/c of our crappy defense and special teams, not JM.

Masoli looked good last weekend and was probably the only reason it didn't turn into a blow-out. Without him, OM is probably winless in the SEC so far this year. He has probably exceeded expectations while his surrounding cast has underperformed, so their over-all record is probably about where it would've been without him (swapping a win over J.St for the win over Kentucky).

QB Killa Nutt keeps Masoli mute for the most part...

I think he would've fit in better at State, and been more effective.

Shut the frick up. Masoli has, believe it or not, averaged slightly MORE yards per game at Ole Miss than he did at Oregon.

Once again, an Arkansas fan lets their Nutt obsession blind them from shite like numbers and facts and stuff.

Keep beating your chest...against our 54th Defense

And read my OP, kid has talent, I just said he'd be a better fit @ State in Mullins offense.

He is 6th in the conference in total offense, he's doing just fine in Nutt's offense.

And I'm sure he'd be a nice fit at State. They did recruit him, you know. And, let's be honest, Chris Relf can't throw for shite.

No, your thinly veiled "point" was Dan Mullen > Houston Nutt. It was some backhanded bullshite. MY point is that Chris Relf fricking sucks so really any SEC quarterback (even Jordan Jefferson) could run that offense more effectively.

Youre an idiot for posting this. Masoli runs for his life every play because we have the worst oline in the conference if not the country. Masoli has exceeded my expectations. If we didnt have Masoli we would be 0-7

I thought he did well in the Arkansas game but I can't tell if it was him or our defensive regression.

He makes some strange decisions sometimes though because there were a couple of times it was wide open for him to run for the first down and he chose to throw it. He'll be kicking himself when he watches the film.

Completely agree.

Bottom line: the guy is a fighter, never slides, never runs out of bounds, goes for the extra yard everytime, and has not only been embraced by his teammates but has become one of the leaders. I love the guy.

Every QB misses a wide open play here and there so it's not something he can't fix. I guess I was just surprised because it was SOOOO open and he stepped back and threw it... and it happened more than once.

Don't get me wrong, I was very glad.

Being a leader and putting it all on the line is the most important thing. LSU fans would take him in a heartbeat.

Who is your QB next year?

Man does Nathan Stanley really suck that bad now? I thought you guys were saying last year that he was going to be the next big thing in the SEC?

I agree with most that the rest of the team has underachieved, leaving him a lot to overcome. That and a lot of injuries/dismissal on an already bad O-line...
