In its zeal to keep up with Saban has Auburn destroyed its program?

I actually believe this is a possibility.

the main motivating factor was the 36-0 or 31-0 (whatever it was.. no clue how I've forgotten) IB loss to Bama that caused dye and company to finally push tubbs out.

if they were to keep Saban from building a machine, it was gonna need swift action... and cheating.

If they really did go back to cheating on a wide scale after Tubbs was fired then without a doubt it had something to do with catching up.

Either way they were pretty desperate by the end of the 2008 season.

And it always helps if you're convinced the other guy is cheating. And its not even debatable that large sections of the Auburn family are convinced that we never really stopped SMUing it.

Hmm, if it goes down over there and the infractions start flying, I guess we could technically say that Saban made their asses quit.

Miles is going to have a winning record against Saban next year

Then Saban bolts to the NFL/retires.. and we'll say Miles made his arse quit
