This team was super young and I am damn proud of them for putting together the season they did. It's ignorant of you to suggest the the Box lost its "luster."

No. Hate to say it. But, it is still the premier college baseball stadium and atmosphere in America.

Old Alex Box had luster. The new Alex Box is still earning its stripes. Stony Brook and Coastal don't get out of the old stadium, IMO.
The crowd was different at the old stadium. The stadium was less comfortable, so fewer older folks went to the games. The new stadium is more comfortable and the core ticket holder base that was put together in the 90s is now in their 60s.
