And now it's not fair to other coaches that get fired for being a programs winningest coach ever? Is this what it's come to?

Sad.

Him and in conjunction with how well the SEC as a whole has done in this century.

Some combination of Nick Saban and the SEC national championship streak created a situation where national championships were necessary to keep your job at major SEC schools.

Pure jealousy. Especially for the girl (LSU) who got dumped for a bigger/better/deal (Bama).

Yes, they actually have. Nick Saban has ruined football for all but one fanbase. Everyone outside of Bama fans can agree that it was more fun to watch when there was more parity. But then again maybe a lack of elite coaches plays into this. We only have two elite coaches in college football right now, maybe three or four if you want to count Dabo and Jimbo.

He's also the reason why every SEC West coach makes $4 million a year.

I don't think so. I think it has more to do with money than anything else. Saban is just the most successful coach at the moment. If he wasn't around, it would be somebody else. Billion dollar tv contracts, five million dollar a year head coaches, million dollar assistants, dramatic drops in merchandising sales if team isn't competing for championships. This is what the sport has evolved into. For better or worse.

If that was the case he would have been fired after 2013 or 2014. He fell behind Arkansas and Ole Miss, and probably A&M now too.

WTF are you talking about?

Losing to Mississippi, Arkansas and Auburn, and coming in 3rd, 5th and 3rd in the division with top 5 talent nationally, isn't about Alabama or Saban.

But you kids today always think everything's about you. There's a word for that.

It's still awesome that some of you delusional fricks actually believe this is true.

Firing a coach that is spiraling down, goes winless in the SEC, goes 3-9 and gets skullfricked by Bama isn't unreasonable. This happened to both Tubby and Chiz. The only difference is that Tubby also quit recruiting. The last couple of classes under Tubs looked like we stole Vandy's.

Fact is that LSU firing Miles has little to do with Saban, but you believe what you want.
