Damn. You are right I am young. I wasn't regurgitating anything though, I came up with it.
Its pretty obvious that Texas does best when other programs in Texas are held in check by the NCAA. Texas has every legal advantage you can have, so stopping illegal advantages in the state ensures a head start.
Occam's razor makes it seem obvious then that Texas would push for enforcement in the state.
If I am wrong and we/SMU got caught due to incompetence I would happily accept it. That means JFF plays and A&M has a chance to win a MNC in my lifetime. Oh and I should buy FedEx stock.
